Local info:
Shawano is no fancy town, there is little to nothing there. For those not familiar feel free to ask any questions.

Arriving there:
For those of you out of town, or local folk, you are free to arrive to the track Friday evening and leave your trucks and trailers there and either camp, or hotel (details below). Also you are more than welcome to stay Sunday evening and leave on Monday.

Lodging:
There will be on track camping allowed, see below. For those who will be spending the night at a hotel there are a few options. Pending on if many people will be rooming I will setup a hotel rate at a few places, so let us know via email. Some of the choices are as follows:

Comments: Great breakfast, Wisconsin style. The people there are a bit weird. They tolerate our bullshit, but will charge you for vandalism, even if its not you… Across from the bowling alley/bar. Hosted, possibly still hosts sex parties. Plenty of parking.

Camping:
USAIR allows camping on site. I will post a map later of areas to camp. In general where you see grass you can camp, this includes on the track. We will keep most camping to one area on track. Centered by a fire pit built into the track. The facility has showers and restrooms and also will be gated.

Food:
There are a few restaurants around town. Typical fast food joints, and a few pretty good places you’ve never heard of. On track amenities will include lots of grilling, carne asada, burgers, brats. Feel free to bring what you want.
One thing to note is there is NO CHARCOAL grills allowed in the pit area. There are two propane grills provided by the track that are free to use.

Driving:
We will be running until it gets dark on Saturday, and only running till 5 on Sunday. USAIR has various configurations we can run and we will run just about all of them throughout the weekend. So be prepared to not get bored.

Drivers: $130 (Early Reg) $150 (Late Reg)
APRIL 23 IS LAST DAY FOR EARLY REG. Yes one week before the event, days after is $150.
Spectators: $10. Kids under 12 Free, Seniors over 90 Free.

Schedule:
Gates Open: 6:00am
Car Tech: 7:30am
Driver’s Meeting: 8:30am
Track Hot: 9:00am
No competition

Track Cold:4:30p

Tech notes:
-Minimum of 4pt cage w/door bars for tandem
-DOT approved helmet, closed toed shoes, and long pants are required for every person in the vehicle
-Seat belts and seats must be securely and properly mounted
-No loose items inside the vehicle
-Firm brake pedal
-Working brake lamp is required
-Night/rainy events will require working parking and head lights
-The windshield must not have any major defects and have a clear area for the driver to see through
-Battery secured and all positive terminals covered
-No leaking or excessive fluids
-No loose engine or suspension parts
-All lug nuts must be installed and engage a minimum of 4 threads of the wheel studs
-Convertible cars must have roll over protection

If you do not pass tech, you will not be driving and will not receive a refund for the registration.

Car show Registration:

-$30 Per vehicle. ( Will be allowed one passenger per entry )
-Entries will be limited to 150 cars only. So we will be filtering the entries.
-You must email a link to pictures of your car to automassevent@gmail.com
-Once approved we will send you a paypal request for the entry fee.
-There will be judging and trophies will be given out at the end of the day.

Show cars must arrive before 8AM.

Specators:

There will be drifting from 9am to 5pm. If you have never seen high speed drifting in person, it WILL be exciting!
There will be a carshow to showcase midwest’s finest. Please come check out the variety of cars!
There will be ride alongs in the afternoon. You must bring your own helmet and you must have the same requirements as the drivers. Bring diapers

As the 2012 season comes to a close start we welcome back going to USA International Raceway. We have 4 dates setup for USAIR as of now. These will not be the only dates for ClubFR this season. We plan on using various new venues in and around the Chicagoland area. Stay tuned for those dates and venues!

ClubFR is proud to announce we have partnered up with Kenda Tires this season. For the year of 2012 we will be able to provide all of our active members (people that drive at our events) Kenda Tires at their racer program discount. Kenda tires are fairly new to the drift scene but have been receiving rave reviews across the US. Kenda tires offer high performance grip as well as high endurance out on the track.

We will be making purchases once per month to Kenda with delivery to Bolingbrook, IL. All tires will be delivered to one place and it is your responsibility to make arrangement to pick these tires up. Contact me for more details regarding this. The first order will be end of January, and one per month. I will collect the money and place the order. Payments accepted are cash, paypal (+fees), and Chase money transfers (for Chase bank members).

A few items to note:
- Only one order will be placed per month, if you miss it, you must wait till the next round
- All deliveries to one location, as of now it will be in Bolingbrook, IL, you must arrange for pick up, or if kind enough I can deliver.
- This is for ClubFR members only, ClubFR reserves the right to deny any orders as well as Kenda reserves the right to cancel this deal, do not ruin it for people
- These tires are NOT for resale, if ClubFR or Kenda concludes someone is reselling these we reserve the right to cancel anything and everything
- We will be trying to get a deeper discount throughout the year, the more purchases the more likely we can get something better, so help us help you

2012 will be the return of the Midwest Bash! ClubFR & Drift Indy collaboration at USAIR will be the host for two days of bashfulness.

MWB will take place on Memorial Day weekend. May 26.27. Details to be released soon along with the rest of the season dates.
